Configuring Apache 2 on Debian, Ubuntu

I've just posted a new how-to article on Control-Escape.com: Configuring Apache 2 on Debian, Ubuntu, in which we explore the peculiar configuration layout of Apache version 2.0 on Debian systems. I read somewhere (sorry, I have lost the link) that this layout is something of a consternation to the upstream Apache folks who try to give support.
